Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you be describe your everyday vanilla life?
I am a 40-year-old mother of 5 children, wife of 10 years, college graduate with a BA and hold one full time job that I have held for 19 years and a seasonal job for the past 4 years.
When did you first realize you were into bondage?
I was introduced to bondage before my husband and I first got together by my previous husband and that wasn’t a really good experience. However, when my current husband and I got together it was an interest hobby of his and the more I got involved with bondage, it became a real turn on and enjoyment that we now participate together as a couple.
How you best describe yourself and why? Your choices are: Dominant, Submissive, Switch or Fuzzy Rainbow Unicorn.
I would consider myself as a submissive. That is my personality style; I am not a dominant person.
Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional? (please elaborate)
I think that my lifestyle of bondage is a bit of both; physical and emotional. The physical side gives me a sense of heightened pleasure and the emotional side makes me trust my partner and connects me with him on a deeper level than just words.
Were lovers accepting of your interest in bondage?
In my case, I was to be introduced to bondage by my loving husband.
Please briefly describe your first bondage experience.
My first bondage experience that I am willing to share is around Christmas time 2005. This was the first weekend that my husband and I took by ourselves before we were married. We had taken that weekend and gone to Branson, MO and we started sharing our secrets, while cuddling on the couch in the hotel suite. He used the robe belt to tie my hands together in the front as we talked, leading to the conversation that he was into bondage.
What was your best bondage experience?
I really do not have a bondage experience better than another. Each and every one of my experiences have been different in their own special ways. I have worked with many different individuals and styles of bondage through the last 10 years. However, if I had to pick I would always pick the intimate times through bondage that my husband and I have. It keeps us connected on that intimate level.
What is the most creative safeword you have ever used?
When I have worked with other individuals the safe word or words are always different. The word that my husband and I use is simple cause it means stop: “Red”.
What do you feel is most important about the experience of bondage?
The most important thing that you need to remember about bondage that it needs to be consensual with all that are involved, top and bottom.
What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out with BDSM?
Advice that I would give someone just starting out is to go slow and simple. Work your way up to where and what you want to do. Some types of bondage are not for everyone and you would need to find out what works for you. Another part is to have trust with your bottom or top; without trust it can be very dangerous.
What is your favorite gear, toy or lingerie item from sub-shop.com and why?
I think that the gear that I have bought from Sub shop that I like the most is a combination between the ball-gag, tweezer nipple clamps, wrist cage and last but not least my vibrating wand. The ball gag fits just right. It fills my mouth and makes me drool a lot. Of all the nipple clamps we have purchased over the years, the tweezer styles are my favorite. They provide just the right amount of pinch and do not hurt like the clovers. They are also, a bit more secure than other styles. We recently purchased a new vibrating wand after my first one died. This new wand has much more power and 20 different vibrating styles. I just love it.
What is the one sensual fantasy you haven’t lived out yet that you are excited to try?
The one fantasy I have, which I have not lived out yet is a fantasy straight out of the old west. My fantasy involves an old west Sheriff and me being the tied up prisoner, being led back into town. My hands are tied behind my back and my feet are hobbled. I am bit gagged to keep me quiet. I have a crotch rope that the Sheriff is using as a lead to walk me behind his horse back to town. I have been stripped of my clothes, leaving me tied and exposed, my breasts sway as the horse pulls me along the dirt trail back to town.
What’s your favorite knock-knock joke?
My favorite joke is not a knock-knock joke, but one I read once. It goes like this: A friend asked me if I thought a kangaroo could jump higher than the Empire State building? I said, Of course, the Empire State building cannot jump.
What is Eskimo ice?
The best I can figure, Eskimo Ice is their version of Ice Cream.
