Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?
I'm a kitchen manager living on a beautiful stretch of coastline. When I'm not at work, I tend to be on the beach, spending time with friends, or crafting!
When did you first realize you were into bondage?
I was actually pretty young--around 15, I think.
How you best describe yourself and why? Your choices are: Dominant, Submissive, Switch or Fuzzy Rainbow Unicorn.
I'd say Switch. While I'm generally Dominant, sometimes I like to be able to let go, and since I wouldn't generally put a sub through something I hadn't experienced, I've done a lot of experimenting and found out how nice it can be on the other side of the rope, as it were!
Were lovers accepting of your interest in bondage?
Surprisingly, more of them than I had expected! Seems a lot more people are a little kinkier than they generally admit.
Please briefly describe your first bondage experience.
It was actually at a party, and somehow I ended up hogtied on the table and tape gagged. Then I got wrapped in a blanket and left in the tub--my kinkiest friend stayed on hand for safety while everyone else went on about the evening.
What was your best bondage experience?
Camping out for two days in a disused barn with my submissive fiancée! She spent the time naked, with a leather collar and cuffs at ankle and wrist (In a lovely purple--guess where I got them?). We got to spend a lot of time learning and experimenting, and it was a total blast!
What do you feel is most important about the experience of bondage?
Enjoying it safely!
What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out with BDSM?
Start easy and work your way forward! Too much too soon can throw everything off. Keep things light until you're fully comfortable before moving on, and be certain that safety is the first thing to keep an eye on.
What is your favorite gear, toy or lingerie item from sub-shop.com and why?
Every-colored rope! There are so many to choose from; to fit moods, personalities, or even make creative bondage art! I love getting new rope in someone's favorite color!
What is the one sensual fantasy you haven’t lived out yet that you are excited to try?
Taking a sub through extended tease and denial.

I wish more people knew how much fun bondage can be! It seems a lot of people think about it and only scary images pop up in their heads--they have no idea how much smiling and laughing can go on before, during, and after. Plus, it usually eliminates the need to worry about what to do with your hands, and that alone is a wonderful thing! ;)
