Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?
I work in healthcare. I enjoy working out, classic cars, and the outdoors.
When did you first realize you were into bondage?
When I was very young. As a child, I liked it long before I knew it was a fetish.

Were lovers accepting of your interest in bondage?
Not at all. My first serious girlfriends were not into bondage at all. They acted as if something was wrong with me for even being interested in it.
Please briefly describe your first bondage experience.
It was very innocent and spontaneous. I was working as a lifeguard. While closing the pool for the day, a female coworker and I just started toying around with it a bit. First, I used the locks and chains that we use to lock the pool. I chained her wrists and legs up. She seemed to enjoy it, so we moved to the first aid room. There, I used ropes and first aid tape to tie up and gag her again. We tried several different positions and if she was able to easily escape, she would allow me to re-tie her up until I got it right. This did not turn sexual, though I believe we were both sexually turned on by the experience. I know I was.:)
What was your best bondage experience?
At a recent BDSM convention, I was able to use a large cage in which to place my wife. I strapped her up, spread eagle in the cage; blindfold and ball gag were placed on her as well. Then, I removed her lingerie piece by piece. Once she was naked, I used various toys and sensation devices on her body. A crowd gathered to watch this spectacle. They enjoyed watching her get tortured almost as much as she did. Despite being shy, she finally let herself go with it, and just had fun; lots of "O"s.
After that, I released her from the cage, placed her in the arm binder, and walked her around the large crowded conference hall. Since she was still naked, I know this pushed her beyond her comfort zone. This made the experience even better. We both really enjoyed the convention.
What do you feel is most important about the experience of bondage?
Foreplay and connection. As a man, it is always a challenge to last long enough for the woman. She typically takes longer to get warmed up and to get in the right state of mind. Her mind and body must both be ready. Bondage takes time and effort, but it makes the sexual experience so much more powerful.
What is the one sensual fantasy you haven’t lived out yet that you are excited to try?
I would love to tie my wife up in the outdoors, in the sunshine, where there is a majestic view of nature as a backdrop. Maybe tie her to a tree, or even tie her to a camp cot. As long as it's outside, in a natural setting. Recently, I found a great area around the Black Canyon, in Southern Colorado. We were hiking with family, and found a wonderful secluded trail, with a fantastic view of the canyon. Since we were with family, I was not able to attempt this fantasy. But next time we go there, we will hopefully be without family, and I will be prepared with the right equipment to make this more than just a fantasy.:)
