Please tell us a little bit about yourself – How would you describe your everyday vanilla life?
I am a factory worker with kids. I also do a lot of fishing and outdoor activities.
When did you first realize you were into bondage?
When I was around 17 or 18 I watched a adult film and immediately wanted to try it out.
How you best describe yourself and why? Your choices are: Dominant, Submissive, Switch or Fuzzy Rainbow Unicorn.
Dominant. My wife likes some types of pain. I don’t really like pain. Being a dominant gives me a feeling of control and power which I don’t have a lot of at work or in other aspects of my life.
Do you feel that your desire for bondage is more physical or emotional? (please elaborate)
I think its a little of both. The physical part of the control and inflicting pain and pushing people past the abnormality of sex for most is amazing. The emotional connection you have with the other person makes me take a step back and realize they absolutely trust me to know the limits and how far I can go and what they can handle.
What does BDSM mean to you: is it a lifestyle, a diversion, or something else?
To me it’s definitely a lifestyle.
Were lovers accepting of your interest in bondage?
My wife was really excited to try it. But past lovers were not, at all. They made me feel like I was a deviant.
Please briefly describe your first bondage experience.
My first experience was very good. We started off slow. We used handcuffs, a blindfold and a whip; we also took it easy and I just kept asking her if she was ok and if I had hurt her at all.
What was your best bondage experience?
It definitely was when she asked for rope play and had got some new toys she wanted to try out for the both of us.
What is the most creative safeword you have ever used?
Squishy monkey
What do you feel is most important about the experience of bondage?
That you both are enjoying the experience together, not just one of you because it makes it less fun and exciting. That and not being afraid to try new things even if they don’t work. Just take it slow and figure out if it’s for you or not.
What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out with BDSM?
Go slow make sure you are not hurting the other person to the point that they are not enjoying it. If you are doing any rope play to start make sure you can get them out of the ropes quick in case something goes wrong. Don’t be afraid to ask if they are ok
What is your favorite gear, toy or lingerie item from sub-shop.com and why?
We really enjoy the magic wand. With all the different attachments it has it makes for a versatile item that can be used in many different things.
What is the one sensual fantasy you haven’t lived out yet that you are excited to try?
We would like to try a swing or a sybian.
What’s your favorite knock-knock joke?
